On Saturday, March 29, former McMinn County High School standouts Andrew Ronne and Jace Hyde’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the USC Upstate Spartans.
The game took place at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 5 p.m. at Thomas Baseball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
