At noon on Saturday, March 7, the Lee Flames, featuring former Bradley Central High School standout Alex Brew, were edged 7-6 by the Union Bulldogs in NCAA Division II baseball action.
Fesmire Baseball Field was the site of the contest. It marked their second meeting with the Bulldogs for the season. Lee had defeated Union 13-3 in the prior matchup on Friday, March 6.
Brew gave up one earned run in 1.2 innings, notching a walk and a strikeout.
The Flames will next take on the Union Bulldogs at Fesmire Baseball Field at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7.
