On Monday, Feb. 24, former McMinn County High School standout Ty Barnett’s current college team, the Cincinnati Bearcats, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNLV Rebels.
The game took place at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Rebels this season.
The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. at Triton Ballpark against UC San Diego Tritons.
