On Friday, Feb. 28, former McMinn County High School standout Will Grimmett’s current college team, the Morehead State Eagles, won 22-21 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Quinnipiac Bobcats.

The game took place at John “Sonny” Allen Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at John “Sonny” Allen Field against Quinnipiac Bobcats.
