On Saturday, March 15, former McMinn County High School standouts Andrew Ronne and Jace Hyde’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.
The game took place at Thomas Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium against Tennessee Volunteers.
