Meigs County High School standout Payton Armour’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Sunday, March 16

On Sunday, March 16, former Meigs County High School standout Payton Armour’s current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 18-16 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Roosevelt Lakers.

The game took place at Lamar Hennon Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 4 p.m. at Bowen Field against Bluefield State Big Blues.
