On Saturday, March 8, former Meigs County High School standout Lainey Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tennessee State Tigers.

The game took place at Tech Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2:40 p.m. at Tech Softball Field against Tennessee State Tigers.
