32 percent of Tennessee Wesleyan University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 32 percent of Tennessee Wesleyan University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Tennessee Wesleyan University has 977 undergraduate students, of which 63 percent are women and 37 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,008 students. Of these students, 168 men and 155 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Tennessee Wesleyan University with the most participants are all track combined (71), soccer (64) and lacrosse (38).
