The Bradley County Sheriff's Office partnered with North Lee Elementary School during Field Day activities this afternoon. Sheriff Steve Lawson and members of our staff handed out t-shirts, goody bags, and popcorn while making kids aware of the consequences of litter in our community. After activities ended, fourth grade students volunteered to help pick up so we did not leave the campus with LITTER on the ground. A special thanks to Missy Harrison, Carol Fowler, Captain Gabe Thomas, Lt. Tim Mason, Sgt. Mike Hughes, and North Lee SRO Paul Allen for coordinating this effort. This event was made possible by the Keep Bradley County Beautiful Litter Program sponsored by TDOT.
