Bradley County Sheriff's Office Scholarships to Children of Employees of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office

075e

Every year, the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association Board of Directors awards scholarships to children of employees of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Certain academic qualifications have to be met through an application process.  Sheriff Steve Lawson presented each of the qualifying applicants with a scholarship for $500 which can be applied for financial assistance to the college of his/her choice. The scholarship can potentially be renewed and used for an additional second year of college as well. This year’s recipients of the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association scholarships are Madison Ingram, Alex Smith, and Alexis Haney.

Madison Ingram is pursuing a degree in nursing from Lee University. She is the daughter of Mark and Tara Miller.

Alex Smith is pursuing a degree in construction management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  He is the son of Andy and Christie Smith.

Alexis Haney is pursuing a degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  She is the daughter of Chad and Amy Nave.

Thank you to the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association for allowing this opportunity and congratulations to the families of the recipients.
