Polk County Sheriff's Office wanted to alert citizens of a scam where unknown party is representing themselves as employee of the Polk County Sheriff's Office and demanding money for non payment of tickets or missed court date. People in surrounding counties such as Hamilton and Bradley have stated they have received these calls. Polk County Sheriff's Office does not call and solicit money if you receive one of these calls hang up and do not give the caller any information or money it is a scam.
