The University of Tennessee Southern used two late goals to dispatch the Brescia Bearcats 2-1 on Saturday, August 27.
After a scoreless first half, the Bearcats got on the board in the 54th minute. UTS would blaze down the field and level the match on a header by Alejandro Blanco from the Manuel Flores assist just two minutes later. The match would stay 1-1 until the 86th minute. Flores and Blanco would pair up for the game-winner. Flores would chip in his first of the season from the Blanco helper. The Firehawks would dominate 17-5 in shots, and lead 10-2 in shots-on-goal.
Senior keeper Ajay Murray recorded one save on two chances, earning his second win of the season between the sticks.
