Tennessee Wesleyan University Men's Bowling Finishes Seventh at MSC Baker Shootout

The men's bowling team competed in their first tournament of the fall portion of the 2022-23 season on Saturday and Sunday. The team played in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Baker Shootout, held in Richmond, Ky. The event consisted of 40 baker games, with 20 taking place each day.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the Bulldogs finished in seventh place in the 17-team field. The team totaled 7,467 total pins through the 40 baker games. The total was 84 more pins than the eighth-place team.

TWU had 14 baker games where they bowled over 200 in the game. The team's highest baker score on Saturday was 246 while surpassing that score with a 257 on Sunday. Those scores were the highest overall scores in baker game No. 7 and baker game No. 37.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the MSC Cincinnati Classic in Fairfield, Ohio. The tournament is set for Oct. 22-23.
