Bryan College Lady Lions Fall to Missouri Baptist 3-0 in the NAIA Opening Rounds

The Bryan College Lady Lions traveled to St. Louis, Missouri to take on 12th ranked Missouri Baptist University in the first round of the NAIA Opening Round. The Lions took a 4 point lead in the first set but MBU fought back and took set 1 with a score of 25-22. The Lions kept it close in the second set but in the end was unable to pull out the set win. MBU took set 2 with a score of 25-22. The Lions fought hard but they were unable to pull it out. They lose set 3 with a score of 25-18, getting swept by MBU. The Lady Lions finish out their season 27-6 overall. 

   

INSIDE THE BOX

  • Abby Rector tallied 11 kills and 7 digs for the match.
  • Gigi Ford recorded 10 kills on the day. 
  • Jurnee Wilson recorded 16 assists and 11 digs. 
 

NEXT TIME OUT

  • The Lady Lions finish their season 27-6 overall.
