Deputy Paul Johnson | Bradley County Sheriff's Office
Paul Johnson is being recognized at Honda of Cleveland for being BCSO’s officer of the month. Johnson is a man with loads of true-grit law enforcement experience, yet gentle enough to hold a baby at this year’s Battle of the Bells. While we’re unsure if the apparel he is wearing is Santa or Grinch, we are sure of how he was nominated for officer of the month.
On December 2, 2022, at almost 2 a.m. in the morning, Deputy Johnson conducted a business check at a local Inn. While doing so, Johnson notices a vehicle matching the description of one used in recent package thefts within the City of Cleveland. He and other team members investigate further, ultimately locating three suspects, 50 fentanyl pills and a roll of drug money.
Because of Johnson’s initiative in the early morning hours, he and his team were able to assist in getting a large quantity of the deadliest drug off the street as well as help the City of Cleveland in solving a case. Job well done!
