New Lead Program | Bradley County Sheriff's Office
Chief Deputy John Stone and Captain Jon Collins of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office were honored to join Principal Ruthie Panni and the school’s resource officer, Deputy Larry Seibers, in presenting the students with their certificates of achievement.
LAW ENFORCEMENT AGAINST DRUGS (LEAD) is a research and evidence-based program which partners with the Mendez Foundation to promote positive social behavior, healthy relationships, substance abuse resistance strategies, handling conflict, and negative peer pressure. A few of the LEAD topics include goal setting, decision making, effective communication, and conflict resolution. LEAD is now being used in 34 counties in Tennessee.
After receiving their certificates, two fifth grade students, Katelynn Peters and Matthew Schaub, were acknowledged as the LEAD essay winners. Join us in congratulating this year's Michigan Avenue Elementary School LEAD graduates!
