The Bryan College Softball team took on Brenau for a doubleheader. For game 1, Bryan was the first to get on the board in the fifth innig with a single from Breanna Bumgardner that advanced Haley Stahl to second, Aubree Presley to third, and scored Katie Dinger. Aubree Presley scored on an error in the same inning to put the Lady Lions up 2-0. Brenau scored in the seventh inning but was unable to pull off the win. Bryan takes game 1 of the series.
For game 2, Brenau was the first to strike in the second inning to go up 2-0. Bryan would respond in the fourth inning with a double from Lily Taylor that advanced Bumgardner to third and scored Presley. Cali Green singled advancing Taylor to third and scored Bumgardner. Jade Richards singled advancing Green and scoring Taylor to put the Lady Lions ahead 3-2. Brenau would come back in the seventh inning to tie the game to send it to extra innings. Brenau would hit a walk off double to put them over the Lions 5-3. Brenau takes game 2 to split the series.
