The Bryan College fishing team competed at Lake Toho for the 2023 MLF Bass National Championship. Overall, Justin Botts and Conner DiMauro caught 14 fish that weighed a total of 58.12 lbs to earn them 6th place. For Day 1, Botts and DiMauro led with 5 fish that weighed 27 lbs even to take first place. Day 2, Botts and DiMauro led again at the end of the day with 4 fish that weighed a total of 13.12 lbs to put them in first place again for day 2. It came down to the wire in the final weigh-in for the day, unfortunately, Bryan was unable to hold onto 1st place but they were awarded 6th place and $1,000. After a successful catch for the week, Bryan takes home 6th place in the MLF Abu Garcia College Fishing National Championship.

- Bridges and Lindsey – 5 fish 9.13 lbs – 99th Place (Day 1)
- Conner Giles and Christian Wright – a total of 10 fish for the whole tournament that weighed 20.15 lbs earning them 71st Place. They did not compete on Day 3.
