On Friday, Feb. 28, former Walker Valley High School standout Addy Girard’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Purdue Northwest Pride.

The game took place at UIS Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Pride this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at UIS Softball Complex against Lake Erie Storm.
